On Tuesday, September 8th, the City of South Haven adopted a Short Term Rental Dwelling Registration Ordinance. This Ordinance requires all residential property owners that rent out a residential unit four or more times a year, for periods of less than a month at a time, to register each unit with the City of South Haven. A fee of $10.00 has been set to offset the administrative costs of the registration process.

The registration material is available at the links below for the first year starting in 2010. All registrations are effective for one year which begins on the first of January each year. All registration material is also available at the Building Services Department in City Hall at 539 Phoenix Street.
