Health Care South Haven Community Hospital offers a wide-range of health and medical services. Programs include: Rehabilitation, Occupational Medicine, Surgery, Home Health Care, Pain Clinic, Inpatient Care, Obstetrics, Emergency/Urgent Care, Radiology, Cardiopulmonary, and Sleep Disorders. The South Haven Community Hospital has been able to provide over one million dollars per year for more than the last ten years in facility improvements and new technology. In 2003, the hospital began a $7.1 million upgrade of several building and renovation projects including the construction of a new Shoreline Women's Center. It provides "one stop shopping" as it is located adjacent to hospital services such as ultrasound, mammography, and bone density testing. The Radiology Department has been significantly upgraded with the addition of diagnostic radiology capabilities with a fixed-site spiral CT scanner, a top of the line mammograpy unit, nuclear medicine equipment, a brand new digital fluoroscopy suite, and bone density testing equipment. SHCH has also established a digital system for the vast majority of their Radiology, or Imaging services, leading southwest Michigan hospitals in establishing this new level of technology and providing a virtually "filmless" system. Other health care providers are offered in South Haven: dentists, ophthalmologists, family practioners, chiropractors, and more. |
