Office Hours:

The offices of the Finance Department are open from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, with limited services from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. The office of the City Assessor is normally closed from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m., but may be accessed during the lunch hour by appointment.

Where do I pay a ticket for a parking or ordinance violation?

Payments for parking and ordinance violations may be paid by mail, in person at the cashier's window from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (except holidays) or you may leave your payment in one of the locked drop boxes, which are located at the parking lot exit on Quaker Street and next to the front door of City Hall. Payments for beach parking tickets may also be placed in the locked drop boxes located near the beach.

How do I protest my parking ticket or ordinance violation ticket?

If you want to protest a parking ticket or ordinance violation ticket you must complete a Civil Infraction - Referral to District Court form and return it to the City of South Haven.
