Information Services Director

The Information Services Department is responsible for all computer and cable television operations for the city. This department ensures that the computer networks, desktop computers, printers, telephone systems, wireless and dial-up internet systems, cable t.v. feed, cable t.v. production and broadcasting, South-Haven.com website, and the new fiber optic wide area network is working 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The Information Services Director is solely responsible for all areas of the department with help from outside vendors and consultants.

Besides technology, this department is responsible for all graphic art support for all city departments. Both digital and copy art are designed within this department using products such as Adobe Photoshop, Pagemaker, GoLive, and Illustrator along with color laser print technology. The director also oversees all computer related training on-site and off-site to ensure that employees of the city are kept up to date on the lastest computer software programs.
