Welcome to beautiful South Haven, Michigan. With a wealth of opportunities for both the transient and seasonal boater, South Haven is an ideal spot to spend your next boating holiday or the entire season.
South Haven’s Municipal Marina Facilities are some of the best in the area, complete with showers, grills, meeting areas both indoors and out, and a friendly staff ready to help in any way they can. Fuel is available adjacent to both the Southside and the Northside Marinas and transient vessels can dock for up to seven nights in the same slip making it easy to extend your visit.
Along with its water based recreational facilities, South Haven enjoys over 75 acres of publicly owned parkland and recreational facilities. These facilities are available to everyone and are regularly used for weddings, family and class reunions. There is no reservation system therefore they are operated on a "first come, first serve" basis.
There are 7 public beaches or access points for Lake Michigan. The North and South beaches are the two largest. The City of South Haven has a pay and park program for beach parking lots. Presently the fee is $5.00 for all day, $15.00 for a weekly permit and $30.00 for the seasonal permit.
