New City Hall Spruce Tree
Thanks to a partnership with the South Haven/Van Buren County Convention & Visitors Bureau (CVB), the city now has a new spruce tree at city hall.
The spruce tree at city hall had died and needed to be replaced. Under the initiative of the CVB, Director Scott Reinert worked with DeBest, Inc. to place a 25 ft. spruce on city hall lawn. The CVB purchased the tree from DeBest, Inc. who in turn donated the labor to deliver and set the tree. The City Department of Public Works team planted the tree.
The CVB offered to pay for the tree and coordinate the decorating of the tree in time for November holiday festivities. More information will be announced closer to the winter holidays.
Thank you to all for coordinating efforts to make this happen!read more >
